Your favourite curry recipe with a modern twist. The juicy and tender Like Chicken Bites will give the ultimate ‘just-like-chicken’ flavour, add some apples for a sweet and modern touch and you will have yourself some chin’ drippin’ chick’n curry! Come on, you can do it, nobody likes a chicken.

What to buy?


  • Oil for frying
  • 1 package of Like chicken Bites
  • 1 yellow onion - finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic - sliced thinly
  • 1 small green chilli - finely chopped
  • 2 cm fresh ginger - grated
  • 1 tbsp yellow curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 medium apple - in small dices
  • 2dl of coconut milk
  • 2 dl of veggie stock
  • Salt and pepper
  • For serving:
  • Cooked rice
  • Naan bread
  • Mango chutney
  • Fresh coriander

  1. In a skillet fry the like Chicken bites in oil for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add in the onion, garlic, green chili and ginger and fry for another 3-4 minutes, keep stirring every now and then, it shouldn’t burn.
  3. Add the curry and turmeric, stir well.
  4. Once the curry and turmeric start to smell and all vegetables are coated with curry and turmeric, add the apple, coconut milk and vegetable stock. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes
  6. Server with rice, naan, chutney and coriander
