What to buy?

Checklist

  • 1 pack of Like Chicken Kebab
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 pieces of pide bread
  • 2 tomatoes – chopped
  • 1/3 red onion – finely chopped
  • 1 handful of parsley – finely chopped
  • ¼ red cabbage – as thinly sliced as possible
  • 100ml vinegar
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp salt

  1. Start by making the pickled cabbage. Heat the vinegar in small pot and add the salt and sugar, stirring until all the sugar has dissolved. Next, put the sliced cabbage in a bowl and pour over the vinegar/sugar mix. Add in the dill, then mix it all with your hands and leave to pickle while you cook the kebab.
  2. Chop the onion, parsley and tomatoes and mix together to create a herby tomato salad.
  3. In a frying pan, cook the Like Chicken Kebab in some oil until slightly crispy. Take the pide bread and warm it under the grill.
  4. Now everything is cooked, you can build your kebab. Start with your favourite garlic dressing, hummus or chili sauce, then add the pickled cabbage, kebab and tomato salad.
