Crispy nuggets, tangy cabbage and an oh-so-soft tortilla in a creamy dressing. Name a better combo, we dare you.

What to buy?

Checklist

  • 1 package of Like Nuggets
  • Oil for frying
  • For the cabbage:
  • 200g of red cabbage – finely sliced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • For the dressing:
  • 2 tbsp plant-based mayo
  • 2 tbsp plant-based natural yoghurt
  • Juice and zest of ½ lime
  • ½ clove of garlic - minced
  • ½ tsb sugar or agave syrup
  • Salt and pepper
  • 6 small wheat tortillas
  • Cilantro and lime for garnish

  1. First make the tangy cabbage by mixing lime juice, sugar, salt, pepper and cumin. Shred the cabbage and mix with the marinade in a bowl, giving it a good stir with your hands to make sure everything is nice and coated.
  2. Next, heat a pan and fry the Like Nuggets in oil until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes on each side.
  3. To make the dressing, mix the plant-based mayo, yoghurt, lime juice/zest, garlic and sugar together then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Heat the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave, then load up your tacos with the cabbage, nuggets, cilantro, a squeeze of lime and a drizzle of creamy dressing.
