This recipe for our Like Chick’n burger is so naughty it’s nice. Dripping with sweet n’ smoky BBQ sauce and a crunchy plant-based slaw, it’s a planet friendly version of your favorite burger that’s so good, it’s good.

What to buy?

Checklist

  • 1 pack of Like Chick’n Pieces
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp vegan mayonaise
  • 2 salad leaves
  • Slaw :
  • 2 tbsp plant yogurt
  • 2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots - shredded
  • ½ cup of shredded white cabbage
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

  1. First, fry the Like Chick’n pieces in a little oil until crispy and golden.
  2. Next, mix together the plant-based yoghurt, plant mayo, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper to make the base for your slaw. Pour over the carrots and cabbage and give everything a good stir together.
  3. Toast your Burger buns and get ready to plate up.
  4. Assemble your burgers with plant mayo on the top and bottom bun, salad leaves, coleslaw, the Like Chick’n, some pickled red onion and a generous helping of your favorite BBQ sauce.
