Falafel waffle


What’s the best part of a falafel wrap? The falafel! What’s the best part of a LikeMeat wrap? The LikeMeat, so we’ve sort of made the falafel into the wrap (we have VERY high IQ’s). The falafel waffle and Like Kebab is a protein and flavour bomb!


500g of frozen falafels (or your own falafel dough of you cool enough to make your own) – defrozen

1 pack of Like Kebab

100g of cooked chick peas

100g pearl cous cous

A handful of pommes granate seeds

10 almonds – roughly chopped

2 handfulls of chopped cabbage

1 medium beet root – peeled and grated



2 tbsp tahin

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1/2 clove or garlic – minced

Pinch of salt

1 dl water


Fry the Like Kebab, chickpeas and pearl cous cous in a little oil for a few minutes. Add the almonds and fry until Like Kebab is golden.


Put the defrozen falafels in your waffle iron, use your hands to press the falafels down and make fill out the waffle iron. Make two beautiful waffles.


Mix cabbage and grated beet root.


Mix the ingredients for the dressing and serve your falafel waffles with Like Kebab chick peas, pearl cous cous and almonds and the cabbage mix a good sprinkle of pommes grenade seeds and a drizzle of tahina dressing.
